The Promises of God

Who are you? When someone asks you this question, your most typical response is to give your name. You might also share your age, where you live, or something about your family. We typically identify ourselves by everything that’s written on our driver’s licenses or that people can find out about us on the Internet. While these things about you are very important, they are only surface-level when it comes to your true identity. Scripture says that God made humans in the Image of God, or “Imago Dei”. This is our foundational identity as people, but sin has changed the landscape of who we are and how we operate, and only God can erase the effects and power of sin. Over the next six weeks, you will study six promises of God to help rediscover your true identity. Your life can be different when you learn how to live in the true identity that is given to you as someone made in God’s image!

Inside The Guide

Each guide is broken up into six weeks. Below is a small insight into each week.

I Am Accepted

As God’s children, we are accepted. How does that impact my life?

I Am Made New

When I surrender my life to Christ, He makes changes in me. What does God do to my sinful nature and how should this change the way I live every day?

I Am Secure

What does it mean to be chosen by God? What does the Bible say about my security in having a relationship with God?

I Am Free

What is the meaning of condemnation? Because I'm in Christ Jesus, why am I no longer condemned?

I Am Significant

Without me, the Body of Christ would be missing a part. What do I think my role(s) are in the Body of Christ?

I Am Eternal

Once I know my eternal value, what should my perspective be on my life here on earth?
